ALMA PETROLI PURCHASES STRATEGIC ASSETS AS PART OF ITS BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PLAN

Alma Petroli has completed the purchase of an industrial area of approximately 28,000 m² located inside the Ravenna Petrochemical district, including tanks and facilities for a total storage capacity of approximately 45,000 m³. The area, which is known as “Isola 21”, is connected to the Candiano Canal by dedicated pipelines for maritime transport and will serve the Alma Petroli production site located on Via Baiona. The subsequent development plan will also include major upgrading works on the acquired assets and pre-treatment plants after obtaining the necessary authorisations from local and national institutions.
This transaction confirms Alma Petroli's goal to pursue further sustainable growth through economies of scale and greater flexibility in the management of raw materials, finished products, and the production cycle, in a highly complex market environment such as the one in which the company operates.
Antonio Serena Monghini, Chairman of Alma Petroli, emphasised: "This transaction plays a fundamental role in the development of Alma Petroli to meet the new challenges of increasingly complex markets and to be more flexible and allocate and optimise our work. Indeed, we believe that bitumen, a highly sustainable product, can play an even greater important role, not only in terms of volume but also in terms of quality produced.”
In this transaction, Alma Petroli was assisted by the Galgano law firm (Luca Nanni Lawyer).
