FIFTH EDITION OF “BEST MANAGED COMPANIES” AWARD - DELOITTE PRIVATE

ALMA PETROLI is one of 79 outstanding companies receiving the award

Best Managed Company 2022

Alma Petroli is an award winner, for a second consecutive year, in the fifth edition of the Best Managed Companies Award for entrepreneurial excellence promoted by Deloitte Private, with the participation of ALTIS – Alta Scuola Impresa e Società of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, ELITE-Gruppo Euronext, and Piccola Industria Confindustria.

Seven success factors were considered in selecting the award winners: "Strategy", "Competencies and Innovation", "Commitment and Corporate Culture", "Governance and Measurement of Performance", "Sustainability", "Supply Chain", and "Internationalisation". The prize was awarded by a panel of experts consisting of Fabio Antoldi, full Professor of Business Strategy at ALTIS, Università Cattolica; Renato Goretta, member of Confindustria’s Consiglio di Presidenza Nazionale di Piccola Industria; and Marta Testi, CEO of Elite-Euronext. The award ceremony took place on Tuesday, 4 October at Palazzo Mezzanotte, the headquarters of Borsa Italiana-Euronext.

“Congratulations to ALMA PETROLI for this important honour”, said Ernesto Lanzillo, Deloitte Partner and Deloitte Private Leader, and Andrea Restelli, Deloitte Partner and head of BMC for Italy. "This edition, like that of 2021, took place in a difficult context, marked not only by the continuing effects of the pandemic, but also by the outbreak of a war that has had serious implications for companies: from supply chain disruptions to the high cost of raw materials, the energy crisis, and the food crisis, with record rates of inflation". “Even in this challenging context, the award-winning companies have shown their ability to adapt, have innovated, and have continued to be a beacon of excellence, demonstrating the strength and great potential of Italian entrepreneurship".
