FOURTH EDITION OF “BEST MANAGED COMPANIES” AWARD - DELOITTE PRIVATE
ALMA PETROLI among the 74 companies receiving the award

Alma Petroli is one of the winners of the fourth edition of the “Best Managed Companies” Award, an initiative sponsored by Deloitte Private to support and reward Italian business excellence. Six criteria were evaluated: strategy, competencies and innovation, commitment and corporate culture, governance and performance, internationalisation, and sustainability.
“Congratulations to Alma Petroli for this important honour” - say Ernesto Lanzillo, Deloitte Partner and Deloitte Private Leader, and Andrea Restelli, Deloitte Partner and BMC Manager. "This edition, like that of 2020, took place in the context of the pandemic, with significant and far-reaching consequences for the activities of every Italian company. The true differentiating factor is that the award-winning companies have demonstrated a strong ability to adapt to the context and react to both the pandemic and the economic crisis. In a word, resilience. This is an indispensable quality for aiming for long-term growth, capitalising on their founding principles, and adapting their strategies and operating models to the new circumstances".
12 companies from Emilia-Romagna win the Best Managed Companies Award 2021
Alma Petroli, CLAI, Coswell, Custom, Flash Battery, Florim, Gruppo SGR, Lincotek, Overmach, SCM Group, Vici & C., and Webranking: these are the companies from Emilia-Romagna that won the fourth edition of the "Deloitte Best Managed Companies Award" (BMC). This award was established by Confindustria and Deloitte Private – the global consulting network solution aimed at both listed and unlisted SMEs, entrepreneurs, family offices, private investors, and Private Equity – as part of the initiative supported by ALTIS Università Cattolica, ELITE, the network and private market of the Borsa Italiana-Euronext Group that connects companies to different capital sources to accelerate their growth. “The companies of Emilia-Romagna have proved to be among the most dynamic and exciting companies in the whole national arena. Once again this year, in fact, only Lombardy has managed to have more companies receive a BMC award than Emilia-Romagna,” commented Ernesto Lanzillo, Deloitte Private Leader, and Andrea Restelli, Deloitte Partner in charge of BMC. “A region that excels in many typical sectors of Italian excellence (from food to fashion, not to mention the companies in the Motor Valley), Emilia-Romagna is one of the areas of the country where tradition has been able to constantly evolve, giving rise to exceptional entrepreneurial ventures. For the next editions too, we expect a great many candidates and winners from this region”.
