{"id":1947,"date":"2021-12-09T10:45:49","date_gmt":"2021-12-09T09:45:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wpdev.almapetroli.com\/alma-petroli-a-new-polymer-modified-bitumen-production-unit\/"},"modified":"2021-12-09T10:45:49","modified_gmt":"2021-12-09T09:45:49","slug":"alma-petroli-a-new-polymer-modified-bitumen-production-unit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.almapetroli.com\/en\/alma-petroli-a-new-polymer-modified-bitumen-production-unit\/","title":{"rendered":"ALMA PETROLI: A NEW POLYMER-MODIFIED BITUMEN PRODUCTION UNIT"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Alma Petroli new PmB plant is now under construction.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The company is going to start manufacturing and delivering <strong>polymer-modified bitumen<\/strong>, in accordance with the requirements of EN14023, in 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Polymer-modified bitumens represent a group of <strong>road paving binders<\/strong> specifically designed and produced to <strong>improve the durability of bitumen pavements and increase road traffic performance and safety<\/strong>.<br \/>\nThe addition of an elastomer in the production process leads to a modification of bitumen, granting benefits in terms of bitumen properties (<strong>concerning resistance to deformation, cohesion, elasticity, and ductility<\/strong>) at high and low temperature services as well as durability.<\/p>\n<p>Alma Petroli PmB will be also based on the SBS polymer type addition and on a proprietary process technology.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding that, the company presented a speech titled: <strong><em>\u201cAlma Petroli: bitumes, quality and innovation\u201d<\/em><\/strong> at Asphaltica fair (november, 2021).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Alma Petroli new PmB plant is now under construction.
