In compliance with the requirements set forth in UNI EN 13924:2006, Alma Petroli can produce and sell the following types of hard grade bitumen for road paving: 5/15, 10/20 and 15/25.
These are (unmodified) bitumens intended for particular applications, such as High-Modulus Asphalt Concrete (HMAC), also known in France as Enrobés à Module Elevé (EME), used in new construction or for resurfacing existing road paving to increase the road’s ability to withstand increased levels of traffic.
