THE SHAREHOLDERS’ MEETING OF ALMA PETROLI S.P.A APPROVED THE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED ON DECEMBER 31ST 2021
The Shareholders’ meeting of Alma Petroli S.p.A approved the Financial Statements for the year ended on December 31st 2021, confirming positive results and a significant growth compared to the previous year:
- Revenues (100.3 Million Euros), reported a growth of 49% compared to the financial year 2020;
- Ebitda in 2021 settled at 8,3 Million Euros (7.2 Million Euros in 2020);
- The company recorded a net positive result of 1.1 Million Euros, +45% vs 2020;
- the Net Financial Position (equal to 4,2 Million Euros) is within an optimal range, confirming very good indexes.
The subsidiary Alma Services Srl, incorporated during the year and active in tanker screening and vetting, has recorded very good results, with Ebitda equal to 1.1 Million Euros and net positive result of 0.7 Million Euros, keeping a cash positive position.
Alma Petroli CEO, Sergio Bovo, commented: “In an economic framework of high volatility, impacted in the first half by the pandemic and in the last quarter by a dramatic and unprecedented energy costs increase, the positive results achieved in 2021 strengthen our group and confirm the targets of our ambitious industrial plan, with Alma Petroli focused on new assets and organisation development and on the efficiency of the existing production units. Although the international context still shows a the high degree of uncertainty and threats linked to the Russia – Ukraine war, the enduring Covid-19 spread and the energy costs, we can approach such difficult challenges with very high confidence in our business model and in the outlook of the bitumen industry.”.
